Geo-Synchronous Orbit Sizes for some planets and our Moon
This video calculates the sizes of "geo"-synchronous orbits for Earth, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and our Moon. The method used is to balance the centripetal force with the force of gravity. Gravitational forces of the Sun and other planets are ignored. A few comments are made as to whether the orbit is feasible for Venus and our Moon. Introductory Physics, Introductory Astronomy
