Flying Dutchman ransomware removal instructions.
Flying Dutchman is a ransomware from the Xorist ransomware family. This ransomware encrypts files and then adds a special random extension to the files. After we launched this Flying Dutchman's sample on our test PC, it encrypted files and modified their titles. Original filenames were appended with an extension comprising random characters, e.g., a file initially named "4.jpg" appeared as "4.jpg.4214598", etc. The ransomware tells its victims that they need to pay a special ransom for file restoration. Yet, paying the ransom is not a good idea. You may simply waste your money for nothing.
