A King’s Reflection | Noa James – Inspired by The Lion King
A King’s Reflection is inspired by one of the most powerful scenes from The Lion King. In that moment, Mufasa tells Simba, “You have forgotten who you are, and so forgotten me.” That stuck with me deeply. It’s a reminder that sometimes we forget our true selves and lose touch with the wisdom and strength passed down from those who came before us. Mufasa offers Simba the wisdom, light, and life he needs to find his way.
This track is my poetic breakdown of that moment and how it made me feel. When we forget who we are, we lose our way.
