Raptor Trap - Ark: Survival Ascended
I will show you how to Trap everything in ARK Survival Ascended!
This video is how to Trap and Tame a Raptor.
The Raptor is needed for the Master Zoologist Achievement/Trophy.
Its Trap Consists of 5 Pillars and 1 Bola (If you can hit it first shot)
Stop the Raptor with a Bola and place a Pillar slightly behind it and off to 1 side a little, then quickly switch to Beams and place them around the Raptor like i do in the video. You have 30 Seconds from the moment you hit the Raptor with the Bola to when it escapes and tears you to shreds so have the Pillars equipped to your hotbar at the bottom.
Raptors are good in packs of 3 or more because they benefit from the Pack Boost. They are a really good early game scouting dinosaur, as they are very maneuverable and have pretty good speed. They lack in Weight and Health so they aren't meant for having dinosaur fights with. Unless you want to take down a single target with a group of them, which some will still likely die. They do have a high DPS output and decent Melee Damage, they just cant receive too much damage.
