On one side is Shanti, who is strictly bound to her traditions, and on the other, Riya, the free-spirited newcomer to the family… Shanti does her best to keep the Shrivastas family together with her authority.
Struggling to control her children and their families, Shanti doesn't believe in giving children freedom. A prisoner of tradition, Shanti shares the same house with her son and daughter-in-law. Her son Raghav does everything his mother says to avoid losing her money. However, Shivam, the grandson, does not approve of his grandmother's worldview and pursues his own freedom. On the other hand, Riya is an intelligent, happy, and compassionate young woman raised in a free-spirited family. When Riya's path crosses with Shivam's, she experiences a great shock upon arriving at the Shrivastav family's home. Will Grandmother Shanti's oppressive behavior be able to restrain Riya's free spirit? Will Shanti be able to protect the unity of her family?
