CSS for beginners 69: outline property | OUTLINE vs BORDER
Hi there and welcome to @Masterminds Tutorials 😊 In this video, we will learn what is outline.
Outline is line that goes around border of HTML element.
At the first glance outline looks the same as border but these are main difference between outline and border:
outline starts where border ends but border always goes around HTML element directly
outline will not affect on page layout but border will
outline can not be set for just specific side ( top, right, bottom or left ) but border can
for outline we can not set rounded corners ( radius property ) but for border we can set it
Common properties for outline and border:
outline-color
outline-style
outline-width
