Unreal Engine Music Video - 88 Corvette / Ugly
A lifetime ago I played in a band with 3 of my best friends, Adam Hull, Mike Stone, and Elvis Le. We called ourselves Ugly and played shows around the Sacramento area and even did a small west coast tour. These were some of the most fun times of my life.One of our songs "88 Corvette" was a story about being in the moment, and enjoying the journey, it was so much fun to play and people seemed to really like it when we played live. I produced the track and we recorded it at the world famous Hangar studio in Sacramento. I had this idea for this video for a long time, but never did much with it. At the start of the pandemic I began learning more about animation and exploring new techniques and saw this song as an excuse to make something while learning. I worked on it here and there and roped in many people to help me put this together, my goal was always just to push forward and finish it, I learned so much about unreal engine / character animation and animation workflow during the course of this experiment and Im looking foreword to putting that into my next project with an all new perspective. This video is a tribute to my friends and the time we spent together enjoying the moment.
