This video describes the rise and rule of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.
NOTE: I mention in the video that the US, China, and their allies supported the Khmer Rouge. Communist Vietnam and the Khmer Rouge had a falling out and in 1979 the Khmer Rouge had been ousted from power. It was at this time that US, China, and their allies (Margaret Thatcher) provided supplies and political support to the Khmer Rouge (many of whom had fled to Thailand).
