How to install LED FRET MARKERS in a guitar/bass. A Fun Weekend Projects with tchiks guitars
I did not build this one but it was a ton of fun. I've always wanted to do this and this cheap old bass was a perfect specimen for this experience.
Lots of things could have been done differently but I like to experiment and learn new things along the way. I loved this quick project, it wasn't so hard after all so do expect some future tchiks guitar builds with LED fret markers in the future.
The reason I chose green LEDs is cause I didn't have anything else available. When I do this again, hopefully very soon, I'll use white ones.
The LEDs are put in series so theoretically the last one is a bit dimmer, but it doesn't show at all.
