There are lots of filters simulating vintage cameras by adding grain or by adding a black and white or sepia effect. What's missing is the choppy framerate of old video cameras. In this tutorial you'll learn how to simulate a reduced framerate to take your vintage camera effects to the next level. We'll be using the Delay Frame patch, render passes, and just a sprinkling of math to bring this effect to life. The end result will be a filter that looks to be running at a lower frames per second to simulate how old cameras captured video.
