A DB regional ticket is a special ticket that allows unlimited travel on regional trains, S-Bahn (commuter trains), U-Bahn (subway), buses, and trams for one day within a specific federal state or region of Germany. It's particularly suitable for groups or families, as up to five people can often travel on one ticket.
I can also buy this ticket in the DB Navigator app. It's important to enter the date of validity and the number of people traveling with the ticket. I also enter the discounts, although they don't make a difference with this type of ticket. However, this is important for other tickets, and if you skip this step, you won't get the correct ticket price.
Once payment is complete, the ticket will be provided to you as a QR code in the app.
