Simple Idea That Will Come In Handy
In this video, I’ll show you how to create a handy tool for marking the circumference of a round pipe. This DIY project is straightforward and requires just a few materials and some basic tools. Here’s what you’ll need:
Materials:
Steel angle (4x4 cm, 40 cm long)
6 bearings to ensure smooth pipe rotation
Metal rod (diameter equal to the inner diameter of the bearings)
Small square pipe (30 cm)
Large square pipe (5-10 cm, fitting tightly over the small square pipe)
45 cm metal rod
Two long nuts
M6 screws
Large metal corner or channel for support
Round head handle hand screw
Steps:
Cut the steel angle to 40 cm and prepare it as the main body of the tool.
Attach the bearings to the steel angle to allow the pipe to rotate smoothly.
Insert the metal rod into the bearings, ensuring a snug fit.
Fit the small square pipe into the large square pipe and secure it with M6 screws.
Attach the metal rod to the assembly, using the long nuts for stability.
Secure the large metal corner or channel to serve as a support base.
Install the round head handle hand screw for easy adjustments.
