Scissor Jack Mod for Tesla Puck: Model 3
Space saver tyres are available for Tesla cars. The provided scissor jacks are generic, will not accept the correct Tesla rubber jacking puck and so if you use them you risk vehicle damage.
Trolley jacks have the correct disc shaped plate but are not compact and many are very heavy too.
Here I modify a compact 2 Ton scissor jack to accept the correct jacking puck and then test it out to make sure it works.

After learning to drive the first thing I was then taught was how to change a wheel.
The car does not have a spare tyre.
Tyre puncture sealer injection kits will not work as the tyres have a foam layer inside which stops it plugging the holes.
Depending on location a regular tyre shop may not have the correct tyre in stock so you have an unusable car for a couple of days.
I do not want to have to wait hours for recovery just because I have a flat tyre.
Tesla's are heavy and seem to pick up punctures more easily than other cars.
