Absolute shambles of a cctv installation installed by a "professional installer" who gets large scale jobs, clearly this isn't the first time he has done a dodgy job. How can people get away with this? Should we name and shame?

This unknowing customer unfortunately paid more than they had to. This installer charged far more than what we would have charged to do the job to a perfect standard first time round. Now they've also had to pay to have it all rectified!
Do your research on companies/installers, check for previous installation pictures on their social media, check reviews, make sure they've been present on social media for some time to ensure their company integrity.
