If you don't understand saltwater chemistry, and don't understand dosing calcium and carbonate, then a blue maxima clam, or indeed any clam is not for you. If like me you are worried you don't quite have enough lighting, then try keeping the Derasa clam. Just remember the derasa clam does not like linear flow, or strong flow.
