In this video, I share How To Teach Or Improve Communication Skills In Autism. - I'm helping Ashley, my stepdaughter who has challenges with *autism and communication* along with her *social skills**. She's 28 with the mind of a 3 to 4 year old. Ashley teaches me lessons every single day with her **communication with autism* and, Bless her Heart, she doesn't even know it. I have learned more about patience because of Ashley, than I had learned in my lifetime prior to her coming into my life through her mother, my beautiful wife, Kimberly.
This video is approximately 17 minutes for a good reason. Because it is helpful for people who would LOVE some ideas on how to help someone they love with Autism.
In the middle section of this video (see CHAPTERS, below), I am actually helping Ashley. While it may appear to be rote and repetitive to some people, I respect your view.

13:58 When we whispered in syllables, she mimicked it at times and whispered back the sentence that helped reinforce it in her quiet mind. This way, she could internalize the memorization component directly into her subconscious. Whispering helps her to focus on listening, which contributes to memorization.
14:48 Over the years, Kim and I have worked together on the side, creating additional income from home. This has enabled us to provide the best care for our Autistic daughter, Ashley.
