OpenBroadcasting Software can be a big pain in the butt because you'll record black screens with audio, rather than gameplay.
I go into a couple of fixes that are less obvious that "make sure you have the right video card selected" or "have you tried turning it off and turning it on again".
Also, I briefly go over YouTube streaming settings.
