We considered a cheaper version of the inside lock (https://amzn.to/3dqYiBn), but we live in the desert, so the lock with the gasket helps pressurize the door so sand doesn't blow through during dust storms despite the weatherstripping (now leaving our dryer to be the biggest source of incoming sand).
