Citizens' Militia (MO) is a police formation established in the People's Republic of Poland to fight crime and ensure public safety. Also actively used to maintain the state system. The Citizens' Militia operated in the People's Republic of Poland in the years 1944–1989, and briefly in the Third Polish Republic, after which it was replaced by the Police. Its number was approximately 80,000 officers.
