Saw no one in campsites all 3 nights and no people/horses on trails first 3 days. Mid-week trip.
Campsites are first-come, first served; no reserving and no fee.
No toilets and no potable water at campsites. Take a filter/water purification device. Potable water at forest HQ building.
Lots of birds. Very pretty area. Lots of shades of green!!
