Reject modernity, superficialness, and fog machines. Embrace Incense and Holiness.
This is made in response to the amount of Protestant “mega churches” using superficial means to get people into church. We shouldn’t have to compensate for Christ’s presence, we come for him, not the show. Let’s keep it holy and sacred, not performative and modern.
Of course if a “fog machine” does help in bringing someone closer to Christ, then that’s a great thing. Perhaps having a fog machine in worship is a fun addition to the faith… although it must not become a crutch one leans upon in their desire to worship.
