North Pole live audio loop (Enhanced Restoration) - It's a Small World - Disneyland & HK Disneyland
This is an enhanced audio restoration from the North Pole scene of It's a Small World in Disneyland's Fantasyland—featuring one of the attraction's original 1966 audio tracks. It includes the sounds of small bells and a lovely tinkling effect, with the Scandinavian choir singing the lyrics in Swedish in the background. This is a live recording—virtually free of crowd noise—that was isolated from the original restoration to remain faithful to the scene's actual instrumentation; since the original master audio was never found, live recordings were used to reconstruct and create a high-quality version.
This audio has been used in:
Disneyland (California): From 1966 to 1992 and from 2002 to the present (the attraction used John Debney's Disneyland Paris soundtrack between 1993 and 2002).
Hong Kong Disneyland: From the attraction's opening in 2008 to the present.
The same applies to the Scandinavian audio track; in both parks, the two audio tracks are harmoniously interwoven.
In both versions, this segment occurs right at the start of the ride, following the welcome room and before entering the Europe section.
This clean track was created by isolating the audio from crowd noise, allowing for a clearer appreciation of the background Scandinavian choir and, above all, the beautiful North Pole bells chiming to the rhythm of the melody.
