2nd hdd caddy size

Many people asked me how to check their optical drive size before buying an 2nd hdd caddy, so here is an example on how to do it without opening your laptop. I made this video with two optical drives already outside the laptop but the principle applied works either way.
First, try to measure without removing the bezel/frontplate. Just open the drive bay door and measure the size of the optical drive inside the laptop.
If you can't measure directly, then you must remove the bezel/frontplate. If you get something around 9mm then your optical drive should be 9.5mm. If you get something around 12mm then your optical drive is 12.7mm.
