The protagonist of Yoko Yaro's NieR: Replicant, commonly known as Nier, is presented a kind, optimistic youth as he journeys to save his sister. Yet, is that really the case? Inside Nier lies something a bit sinister, which I believe creates one of the best flawed characters in video games. Let's dive into what makes Nier such an excellent character.
