"My intention was to create the world's worst heroine...". This quote from Zero Escape creator Kotaro Uchikoshi was the foundation for one of my favorite characters ever, Akane Kurashiki. Although seemingly simple, Akane is one of the most layered and interesting characters I've ever seen. Let's talk about why Akane Kurashiki is such a fantastically written character!
