Agora Gallery Opening Reception - October 18th, 2018
On the evening of October 18, Agora Gallery hosted the opening reception of two new exhibitions: Michael Dolen: The Circus Series and Mystery as Muse.
Michael Dolen’s most recent work explores the theme of the circus: a site earmarked as being an imbricated network of activity, often involving rituals, risk, and sudden climaxes.

Mystery as Muse explores humanity’s search for the unknown. Featuring 14 international artists with a mix of painting and sculpture, the work captures the mystery of what it means to be human. From the secrets of the universe to the uncharted waters of the subconscious, the exhibition takes a closer look at the scope of the human imagination.
