How to Fix Error Failed to Download Metadata for Repo AppStream CentOS 8 RHEL
Welcome everyone, I'll demonstrate how to resolve the Error: Failed to download metadata for repo ‘appstream’: Cannot prepare internal mirrorlist: No URLs in mirrorlist in CENTOS8/RHEL8 in this video. As you may be aware, CentOS 8 reached its End of Life (EOL) date on December 31, 2021. Official repos URLs therefore no longer function. So, we must change the repo URLs to new URLs so that we may use yum to instal any programme and yum to download updates. To fix the problem, please watch the video till the end.
