Magnaflow 14” Vs. 18” 5.3 Silverado
I do three different cold start comparisons in this video.
The first is a 14" Magnaflow with single in dual pipes coming out the back straight out.
The second is the same 14" Magnaflow muffler, just cut the pipes off and threw some turn downs on it.
The third is a single in single out 18" magnaflow with 3" tubing.
I am currently running the 18" setup.
The 14" duals did not have much drone on highway.
the 14" turn downs had alot of drone on the highway.
the 18" has no drone on highway.

My truck is a 2011 Silverado 5.3. It has a 4" Fabtech 07-13 kit on it, Pro Comp 7069 17x9 -6, and . 295/70/r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. All the setups sounded fine even with afm in my opinion. My least favorite was the turn downs.
