Welcome to the Senmaida rice terraces in Wajima, Japan!
I had a chance to plant rice in the fields together with other owners and volunteers, and spend a day hands-on in a really beautiful spot!
This area is listed as a "Globally Important Agricultural Heritage", and all of the town was listed in June 2011. As part of the conservation process, they allow anyone interested to register and come to plant the rice around this time each year, and even if you're not registered, everyone is welcome to come as a volunteer just on the day.

For those of your who know me, I know I haven't uploaded a video in a really long time. I'm doing great and living in Tokyo and working. I won't be making videos regularly, but every once in a while, when there's something worth shooting, I'll be happy to share! I do plan to do some things on YouTube for English education at some point, so I'll let everyone know once that gets going. Thanks always for your support~!!!
