Microsoft Word Corrects Argentine Spanish! How to Fix It?
The Microsoft Word spell checker marks as spelling mistakes conjugations of the Rioplatense Spanish that are well written and accepted in the educated standard. The phrases "La tenés adentro" by Diego Maradona and "Andá para allá, bobo" by Lionel Messi, are good examples of the Spanish that we Argentines speak. Although Word allows you to choose "Español (Argentina)" as a language variety, it does not respect the use of the voseo characteristic of the Spanish of this country, which is as correct as the tuteo currently used in Spain and other countries.
In this little tutorial, we are going to see how to solve this problem and make Microsoft Word accept the conjugations in vos instead of tú, or both.
Configure the Word spell checker to write in the true Spanish of Argentina, using vos and not tú as it comes by default.
