UNEXPECTED LOSS! Former thief-in-law Temo Sukhumsky dies in Istanbul
Yesterday in Istanbul, former thief-in-law Temur Gvasalia, better known in criminal circles as Makolya or Temo Sukhumsky, died at the age of 53. Before becoming a crowned thief in 2013, he spent 18 and a half years in Russian prisons, twice being released to maximum-security prisons. Upon his release, Temo returned to his homeland, where he joined a family of criminal authorities. However, relations with local Abkhazians did not work out, leading to conflicts and his subsequent "decrowning." In recent years, Gvasalia battled lung cancer, which was the cause of his death.
