Lecture 15: FLSM Class B

FLSM is fixed length subnet mask which is remaining within your class boundary like Class a is /8 and Class B is /16 and so on. Example; it was used in RIP protocol. However it would waste a lot of IP Address. Thus VLSM variable length subnet mask concept came in wherein you can subnet a given classful IP. For example a Class A using /24 subnet mask.
