Gordon Mitchell has a small part in Episode 6 of this min-series. He plays a Knight who happens upon a soldier stuck in his suit of armor.
GM wasn't chasing the man in the armor - he just encountered him by chance. The armored man is stuck and can't get out, so he asks GM to help him get out. GM tries repeatedly to get it off or break it open and get him out, and then becomes increasingly frustrated when he fails, so he finally gives up and rides off and leaves him.
As the year 1,000 approaches, people of the era believed the world would suddenly end and great misfortune would envelope the world, at least according to the Prophets of the time.
Sort of reminds me of the panic when the year 2,000 approached and we all know how that turned out.
Three rascals, a cavalryman named Fortunato and two soldiers try to take advantage of everyone who wants to improve themselves and thus be saved when the world ends.
Made in 1968, released to cinema in 1971 and shown on TV as a mini-series in 1973, as Storie Dell' Anno Mille.
