Short version of the story of a two-week independent journey from north to south of Turkey "4 seas"
In late September - early October, we flew with 2.5-year-old children to Istanbul and covered 3000 km in a rented Peugeot 301 in 16 days.
On this journey you will find:
Night Istanbul Airport, morning at the fish market near the lighthouse on the Black Sea coast, the old eternal city of Constantinople (Istanbul), an almost 3 km long bridge over the Sea of ​​Marmara, Lake Iznik, Bandirma and a cool room with an excellent view to order, Erdek Peninsula with stunning landscapes, with and Mount Spil, a very different Izmir, a quiet beach in Balyklova and a wild but popular Delikli Koy beach in the south of Chishme, Selcuk and a little ancient Ephesus, in which there is nowhere to raise a drone, tourist Kusadasi with a beautiful distance from which the city took its name Dilek Peninsula National Park, where we had a chance to talk a little with the gendarmes, a long road to Pamukkale, Travertines and Hierapolis at sunset, balloons at dawn, Salda Lake, which is called the Turkish Maldives, beautiful views of Uuluk on the way to Fethiye, wonderful bays and views from the repeater of the Karagezler peninsula near Fethiye, abandoned Kayaka and cozy Oludeniz, deserted beaches of Calish, Yanyklar and White Lake (Ak Gel), which is yellow on top, a little town and lake Koycegiz, unjustifiably missed by Gyokova and Akyaka, beautiful Marmaris, cozy Turunc and Icmeler, a detour through Turgut and the return road with an unexpectedly steep ascent to Gekova and even more unexpected and amazing beauty of the rock garden in the Chinechay area between Yatagan and Chine, climbing Sipil mountain 1500 meters in Manisa, a simple and pretty Gebze, a zoo in it, the last days in Istanbul with an excellent view of the sea and the Sokollu Mehmed Pasha mosque, a walk to the closed mosque Sultanahmet and around Hagia Sophia, Bayazet the grand bazaar and the Egyptian bazaar with access to the Bosphorus, the Oceanarium and the rainy road to the airport.
