The Dark Side of YouTube Shorts: Killing Long Form Content Views
In this video, I share my personal experience using Youtube Shorts and Youtube long form content together on 1 channel. I experienced a degration of long form impressions and views/retention on my channel, so I stopped uploading Youtube shorts.
It's important to note that YouTube's algorithm considers various factors when recommending content, including viewer preferences, watch history, engagement, and overall performance. Both Shorts and long-form videos can have their own opportunities for discovery and visibility on the platform.
