The Timbers Treehouse Camp // Foundation
In this series, we build a tree house using 100% forest gathered materials with hand tools. All trees were collected dead with the exception of two larch trees that had blown over in the winter ice storm which had fallen but still had some green wood. These were used for the long sills to ensure our safety for many years.
Everything was scribed and saddle notch using gravity and angles to hold the foundation together.
During this series, I hope to share interesting tips and techniques in bushcraft, construction, architectural design, foraging, and campfire cooking.
