The iPhone 16 introduces several notable upgrades. iPhone 16 & iPhone 16 Pro features a new A18 chip, offering up to 30% faster performance compared to the A16 in the previous generation ( iPhone 15 ).
iPhone 16 has Camera Control button allows users to take photos and adjust zoom with touch gestures, adding a streamlined interface for quick camera access. iPhone 16 also includes the Action button (formerly exclusive to the Pro models), which can be customized for different tasks.
In terms of photography, the iPhone 16 comes with a 48MP ultra-wide camera and supports 3D photo and video capture, making it compatible with Apple Vision Pro for spatial experiences. Additionally, iPhone 16 and 16 Pro has integrated AI features under the Apple Intelligence umbrella, enabling faster, more personalized interactions across apps while ensuring data privacy.
The iPhone 16 comes in vibrant new colors, including black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine, and boasts a stronger display glass. iPhone 16 lineup starts at $799 for the base model and $899 for the Plus, with pre-orders starting September 13, 2024, and availability beginning on September 20, 2024
