You're waiting for your bus when you see a boy sitting on the bus stop bench, clearly freezing due to the cold weather. You learn he had his jacket stolen and was separated from his school group. He's now waiting for his teacher, but he doesn't know her cell phone number.
What do you do?
As you'll see in the video below, if you're a Norwegian, you help by giving him your scarf, gloves, sweater, jacket -- anything.
The social experiment, which employed an 11-year-old actor and great story line, was organized by SOS Mayday to test the kind-hearted nature of strangers and bring awareness to children suffering from the terrible effects of war in Syria.
According to SOS Mayday, countless kids are forced to spend nights -- which tend to be cold -- outdoors on in torn down homes with no heating.
The group hopes the moving generosity of Norwegians will inspire people to donate to their cause and help children in Syria.
