I Martingale Only During the DEAD Market Hours... and DOUBLED My Account!
Everyone knows the Martingale strategy fails when the market trends hard. So, for this experiment, we introduced a major twist: only trading XAUUSD (Gold) during the low-volatility Asian Session!
The hypothesis: Does trading during the "dead market hours" (where price tends to range) increase the probability of quick pullbacks and weighted TP hits?
Starting with a $1,000 account, we used an aggressive layering plan: 0.01 lot entry, doubling lot size every $5 move against the trade, with 8 total layers ready (up to 1.28 lots).
Watch as the account swings from calm entries to $680 in floating loss, demonstrating the insane pressure of Martingale. We see how crucial precise execution and risk visibility (especially on a platform like BingX) are when facing near-account-wipeout scenarios.
