Vjekoslav Majetić Presents Production of Synthesis Gas from Organic Waste, HRT Studio 4, 31.01.2024.
Vjekoslav Majetić, innovator, owner, and founder of DOK-ING, was hosted on the Croatian national television where he presented DOK-ING's latest innovation: Looper. Looper is an energy plant designed for the production of synthesis gas from organic residual material.
The Looper is not an incinerator; instead, synthetic gas is produced from organic waste through thermochemical gasification. Harmful carbon molecules are "trapped" in the ash, which can be further utilized as raw material, such as in the construction industry. The resulting synthesis gas is a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. It can be used directly for storage, electricity or thermal energy production, or the pure hydrogen can be extracted from the gas mixture for use in industrial processes.
