Ironland is a micronation that exists in the 12 foot circle around a flatiron statue. However, it is quickly spreading around the world. In addition to embassies opening in 10 of the 50 states in the USA, embassies have now been opened in 10 other nations around the globe! (An embassy consists of a mid-sized Ironland Emblem with a flatiron placed on top).
It took the United States 40 years to open its first 10 embassies. These early embassies were located in France (1779), the Netherlands (1781), the United Kingdom (1785), Spain (1783), Portugal (1791), Denmark (1827), Brazil (1825), Mexico (1825), Belgium (1832), and Colombia (1823). Each of these diplomatic missions marked the United States' commitment to forging strong international relationships and promoting its interests abroad.
