Session Abstract: Event Stream Processing is a rapidly growing class of analytics involving data from a variety of high volume / high-velocity applications such as IoT, time series, telemetry, clickstream, audit logging, etc. In this session, we will first describe the general characteristics of event stream processing workloads and the key requirements of systems that handle such workloads. Next, we show how the many converged capabilities of Oracle Database, such as in-memory, memoptimized tables, sql pattern matching, etc, come together to provide the ideal architecture for event stream processing. We will also cover some real-world use cases and present a short demo.
