Bay-C, bass vocalist from platinum-selling dancehall/reggae quartet, TOK, in partnership with UWI’s One Health One Caribbean One Love Project produced a ListenMi Feature on One Health. Bay – C is One Health’s Celebrity Patron, ideator of ListenMi News and is a Caribbean pioneer in ‘edu-tainment.’
“One Health” is a term coined to express the joint effort of different disciplines to improve the health of humans, other living beings, and the environment. Professionals from fields, such as, environmental science, veterinary medicine, human medicine and agricultural science, work together to implement One Health solutions in the built and natural environment.
The One Health One Caribbean One Love Project is funded by the ACP/EU and supported by IICA SPS Project. It works regionally on the BIG health issues affecting the Caribbean region such as Antimicrobial resistance, water issues and emerging diseases.
