1) Software can damage or destroy your camera
2) Never delete the Magic Lantern files from the card. Format the card instead
3) To take a card from a camera, open a card door and only after 5 second or LED confirmation you can extract it

But In case, your camera firmware is higher or lower, please update it for a version you need to install ML. You can type Canon 5D Mark II (or your camera model) firmware into Google and find it on official site or follow a link which you can find in the description.

After extraction, there must be a PDF-file with instructions in 5 languages - Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese. Please, read instructions and follow them.
