With the release of Audacity 3.2.2 comes support for VST2 realtime, stackable effects. Support for VST3 effects was introduced in version 3.2.0 and with the release of 3.2.2, both VST2 and VST3 plugins can be used as realtime effects. This is a major step forward for Audacity in its move toward full non-destructive editing.
I also talk about a problem I experienced in 3.2.1 with editing macros. That bug has been resolved in 3.2.2.
