SOME NOTES:
#N°1: The mixture for the wood concrete is in volumetric parts (VP)
1 cement
1 wood dust
1 very small / small chips
1 wood chips
cement accelerator (2% of cement mass, NOT volume).
---note: this is MY mixture and not an "official" one! 😉
When using fine wood particles, a cement accelerator is important - not to say vital, especially when using fresh wood, as wood contains substances that can retard the hardening process of cement dramatically. I once made a small wood concrete specimen with fresh wood material and no accelerator. Even after one year, the concrete had not hardened.
Often Calcium salts are used, in my case calcium nitrate. Decades ago - and sometimes even today - calcium chloride (which is very cheap) was used until it was discovered that the chlorides tend to corrode the rebar or any other steel attached to the concrete. Wood concrete typically has no rebar, so this should not be an issue. But I don't know how well screws, for example, get along with the chlorides over time - certainly a question of the amount of calcium chloride added to the mix.

The screws I used to attach the joist hangers are not "normal" screws, but screws that can deal with shear forces.
