Abstract: Standardising Smart Lifts: The transition to IoT – The discussions would explore the most different aspects of cybersecurity and standardisation in the lift sector and how standardisation and monitoring in the digital era can support the integration of the so-called “smart lifts”, taking into due consideration the most recent developments of the market in the Internet of Things age. The presentations would show how standardisation is evolving and adapting to the latest developments in the digital market, which is constantly changing and updating itself.

Speaker Bio: Enrico Scarrone joined the R&D division of TIM in 1992.
Enrico Scarrone is currently the Chairman of the Steering Committee of oneM2M (representing ETSI), and Chairman of ETSI TC smartM2M. He is the standardization manager in charge of the coordination for IoT/M2M standardization in the TIM group.

Speaker Bio: Marco Cogliati is senior designer of lift systems as well as Director of Research Design & User Experience of Tre-E S.c.r.l., Managing Director of Tre-Engine S.r.l., referent in the Italian UNI CT019 Technical Committee, member of WG06, WG07, WG08, WG09, WG10, WG11, WG13, WG14, WG15 Working Groups, member of the European Working Group CEN TC10/WG13, has joined the Elevatori Magazine Technical Committee in 2021. He is an EFESME expert (European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium sized Enterprises), as well as Member of the EFESME Digital Working Group and member of the Technical Commission ETSI – TC Smart M2M as SBS Expert (Small Business Standards).
Speaker: Dr. Mauro Dragoni is a Research Scientist at Fondazione Bruno Kessler within the Digital Health Research Center.
Speaker Bio: His main research topics concern knowledge management, information retrieval, and machine learning by focusing on the development of real-world prototypes as outcome of his research activities.
He has been involved in a number of international and industrial research projects.
He co-authored more than 140 scientific publications in international journals, conferences, and workshops and he started to collaborate with ETSI in 2019 by working on the design of SAREF extensions conceptual models.
