This is a short (and i hope usefull) tutorial on how to compress a Dreamcast GDI image to CHD. It also works with most CD based systems like PSX, Sega CD, Sega Saturn, PC Engine CD, etc...
redump changed the official file format for Dreamcast games to bin/cue and these rips are currently not working but there's a workaround. On redump.org is an archive with all GDI files in the download section. just download it and copy the GDI with the same name as the cue to your game folder.
CHD is a lossless compression format. It was originally made for M.A.M.E. but many other emulators also support it.
This is my first tutorial so please write a comment on what i could improve.
