Learn how to make scalable text or responsive text. That is your APP texts look the same through different devices.
The name “responsive” comes from the ability of the app to “respond” to the size of the device and to change the size of controls so they maintain a similar size on each device.

The name “responsive” comes from the ability of the app to “respond” to the size of the device and to change the size of controls so they maintain a similar size on each device. The terminology “responsive web design” also refers to web sites that are designed to work with different sized mobile device screens

For this tutorial I will use #appybuilder but it is also possible to follow this tutorial with #Thunkable or MIT app inventor.

*MIT App Inventor and personal servers like AppyBuilder or Thunkable introduced some time ago their new “responsive design” features so that apps can work “better” on different sized screens. Using these new features, you can create a single app that should run on both a smart phone and a tablet, yet still display proportional user interface controls. Prior to this, your nicely designed smart phone app could end up having very small buttons or text boxes when run on a tablet; now, these components will resize as needed.

AppyBuilder: Originally based on MIT App Inventor, Appy Builder is a Drag & Drop mobile app builder platform that allows anyone to quickly design and build Android mobile apps, Even With No Coding Skills!

Thunkable: Thunkable is a drag and drop platform for building native, mobile apps. No coding needed. Try it for free. Compatible with App Inventor.

MIT App Inventor: MIT App Inventor is an innovative beginner's introduction to programming and app creation that transforms the complex language of text-based coding into visual, drag-and-drop building blocks. The simple graphical interface grants even an inexperienced novice the ability to create a basic, fully functional app within an hour or less.
MIT App Inventor has grabbed the attention of:

Formal and informal educators who have used MIT App Inventor to introduce programming to their Computer Science students, science club members, after-school programs’ attendees, and summer campers. Many educators have also started to use MIT App Inventor to develop apps in support of their own instructional objectives.
Government and civic employees and volunteers who have harnessed the power of MIT App Inventor to develop custom, often hyper-local apps in response to natural disasters and community-based needs.
Designers and product managers who have seen the potential that MIT App Inventor has to support the iterative design process via rapid prototyping, testing and iteration.
Researchers who use MIT App Inventor to create custom apps that can process their data collection and analysis requirements in a wide variety of fields from medical to social.
Hobbyists and Entrepreneurswho want to quickly turn an idea into an app without the cost or learning curve of more traditional app creation processes.
