The XTool D7 OBDII scanner is a powerful bidirectional scanner at a good price point. I use the XTool D7 to quickly diagnose my P0130 trouble code on my 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I also show you the bidirectional ability of the D7, by finely tuning the fan RPM of the hybrid battery, as if the scanner was a rheostat. The P0130 code on the Fusion is for an o2 sensor; turns out my exhaust is broken near the catalytic converter which is why I believe the sensor is not performing correctly thus causing the code.
XTool has updated the software to add some abilities since I filmed this video, this includes a "Special Functions" option under diagnosis which included many useful resets, relearns, initializations, calibrations like Idle Relearn, Fuel Trim Relearn, Alcohol content reset, crankshaft relearn, abs initialization, yaw rate sensor calibration, seat weight sensor calibration and etc.
